Trouble with datlink 1 Fcr 2 aa 3 Master arm on 4 show Cont 5. Control o 2 seconds or more
nothing happens cont does not light up
manuel says comm switch left >.05 seconds which comm 1 or 2
where am I going wrong
is there a video out there for 4.33 Kruase has one but that is for 4.32

MFD1 - OSB #6 Change setting ( Cont ) comm switch left >.05 and your wing man will pop up

That should be 0.5s or 1/2 a second. Your keyboard press of Ctrl-O may not be activating the IFF-IN (in as in inboard as toward the middle of the airplane) callback. It’s changed several times over various versions and key files. It’s worthwhile to double check that in your controls the key or button that should activate this control is doing so.

The DL should work any time but being in CRM FCR mode(s) allows you to see the ASGN/DMD/CONT label.

Double check that the DL switch is on at the avionics power panel on the right console.
