How are getting HUD to look like this in the Bug?

so the call might be something like “Stinger 06, Hornet ball, three green, hook down, 4.6”
Ball calls are no longer made with full callsign or gear/hook down callouts as this is done at the abeam call. The method used currently is MODEX, TYPE, BALL, FUEL STATE which would be something like:
“206 Hornet ball, 4.6.”
The aircraft types are Hornet(Legacy Hornet), Rhino (Super Hornet), Grizzly (Growler) Prowler, Hawkeye, and Greyhound
Sometimes it’s “state 4.6”
AFAIK state calls are only made to CATCC when declaring low state when entering Freedom Marshall and there IS a difference between that call and the fuel state call you make at the ball but I can’t remember off the top of my head what it is. I’ll ask.

OK-3…nice flying.
I would have graded it as (OK)4 TCA LIG LOX (SLO)CIM (SLO)CDIC (LO)(SLO)AR
But it’s all moot anyway since the boat wasn’t sailing into the wind

And no island burble to plow through.

Pretty easy to add one though. Just add a layer of mild turbulence at ~170 feet. It can be pretty exaggerated at times but overall makes passes at the boat more enjoyable IMHO.

Hmm, I like my Ramp Roast medium rare.

Just to follow up regarding the fuel calls…
When entering Freedom Marshall (CATCC controlled airspace) you will declare a state which is the lowest fuel state of any aircraft in the flight. The associated comms: “Marshal, 304 and 303 checking in 315 for 30, angels 12, low state 6.5”
If CATCC asks you to “declare state” you would say something like “10.5 over 5.0” which is total fuel remaining over pre-briefed bingo fuel for your flight. If they say “say state” you just reply with total fuel remaining using 2 digits without a “state” call. Simply say the numbers, i.e. “ten five.”
When you are called by paddles at the abeam position (“Paddles contact” …Case 1 and 2 recoveries only) you declare your state above blue-water-ops bingo so CATCC knows if they need to vector you to a tanker if you waveoff or bolter. Blue-water bingo is around 4.0 for Rhinos/Growlers, 3.5 for Hornets, and 4.5 for Prowlers and varies with conditions.
When you call the ball you give your total fuel remaining using two numbers in thousands and hundreds just like the response to “say state.”

…great gouge, Rybo.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I’m having the same issue as the initial post, where the HUD is cut off around the edges. There’s a solution on the first page but one small problem-I don’t have TIR. Any other options for getting the whole HUD to fit?
