Thanks Scuby!

Hey guys. Having a problem. For some reason I get pink borders as depicted below:
At first I thought it was the borders around the original picture, but then I cropped it and I still get that pink box around the edges. Any ideas?

Nevermind, fixed!
I do have a question though. In order to get our custom patches in the campaign for custom squadrons, do we still have to follow this:

Yes

Argrgrgrgrgrrgggg. Should have lied to me RAM!

Hey Ram. The resource and patch files after unpacking look 100% different than when you did that tutorial. As well as a lot more number lines added for the imageids file.

Yep, looks like they’ve made some changes and also changed to some type of coding of the .irc file(archive)??
Isn’t that quaint:rolleyes::rolleyes:
EDIT: Actually I’m not sure at the moment, something may be fubar here??

Yep, I’m cleaning it up and seeing if it’s functional at out level. Thought it was my install, but I checked the other two.
Let you know what I find.

Hello,
Here I have my squadron patch picture and my driver and I would like it in the BMS integrate as many other squadron pilot. What procedure is followed to dot you apply.
Thank you cordially.
-
The problem I have is that there is white in the middle of my patch and every time I click the Alpha button for the checkered background it changes the white in the patch also.
-
Ok, I give up.
I have been using gimp trying to put my patch in the logbook and all I get are white and pink pixeled dots in a square. -

JorikI can help you with that
Part of the secret is also explained by Dunc (see post on the first page):
Note: it is important NOT to use aliasing for the edges of the logo! BMS does not support “partial transparency”, i.e. a pixel can either be solid, or transparent. No “blending” between transparency and pixel color is allowed. Usually, this is achieved by scaling with “nearest neighbor” as opposed to the usual “bicubic”.Another part of the secret is to have your logo outlined very tiny by the same gray color as the background of the logbook. This will almost be invisable. By keeping the gray outline un-aliased, you can keep your logo outline aliased, i.e. your logo will look nice and the invisable gray will take the damage

Followed all the instructions to a T and while the file shows up in the list, when I click and choose it, the existing squadron patch does not change.
