Hi all, i’m using delan clip with ps3 camera and facetracknotir. I have two plugins i use, point tracker 1 & 1.1 The 1.1 plugin is the smoothest in game so i use that. Issue i’m having is when i move my head up, the camera is rolling at the same time, so instead of a straight up move, it curves off to the left some 20 degrees. When i move down it centers ok, then if i look down, again it rolls to the left, so the complete pitch up down move is not straight, it’s like a ) if you understand me. The point track version 1 has no issues, straight up down, i have compared the settings and they are identical. The leds are moving straight up and down in the camera test.

      Anyone come across this issue?

      Thanks for any info guys…

I use Opentrack but it is similar with Point tracker 1.1 .In the settings tab for PT the model dimensions must be fairly accurate , also the height, and offset of the model in relation to the camera
To see what I’m talking about swap the clip and camera to the other side of your head. The “model position” settings govern this. I had a similar situation to what you describe and that is where I made my adjustments. I used to use Freetrack but sadly I couldn’t get it to work with FBMS 4.33 x64 bit . Note that PT will probably take a bit of fiddling to get it “just right” but it works alright for me

        Cheers : Dave

Ok, got it sorted out. I moved the clip to the left side of my head, straightened it up on the headset and the camera now follows a clean line straight up and down. job done 😉
