Starting the New Year Fresh, aka, Darn CTD

Good Day, All, and Happy New Year. Well, last night BMS started immediately started CTD’ing. I have no idea why. Instead of going into BMS Withdrawal, I went for a positive spin, I decided it was a good time to fix some issues. Namely, that my old install was “funky” and wouldn’t do updates. It also wouldn’t uninstall BMS.
I deleted the old install folder, and I got everything back up. I got my BfB and Korea 2012 in, and all is good in my sim world.
I just wanted to give a recommendation for that Registry Issue thing on the other thread. It worked perfectly.
Tips for anyone is a similar boat- copy and paste your keyfile(your callsign.key)and Logbook(your callsign.lbk) , and paste to your new install. They go in X/Falcon 4.33u1/User/config- I have skins for both the F-18 and the Viper I like. So, after re downloading the skins I consolidated all the .dds files to one easy to find place. They get copied and pasted to X/Falcon…U1/data/terrdata/objects/Korea obj AND Korea HiRes obj folders . When you go to paste you’ll get the “do your want to replace message” . I did, though if you want to be safer save the original Obj folders .
