I dig it. Great work! Maybe one day we’ll have a true “low-poly mode” option in BMS for those willing to sacrifice pixels for fps.

You can always reduce the screen resolution, even to 640 x 480 if you want

Hmmmm. I was generalizing. I actually get quite high average frame-rates even with my older machine, at 1280x1024, the problem is loading stutters/pauses. See here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?14056-Targets-LowPoly-Edition&p=199300&viewfull=1#post199300

Would you stop digging old thread and your video shenanigans Toro?

OK

Yeah, that’s not bad. I think that this particular forum is great because you can do things like that and people (including authorities) don’t really mind. I’ve been on some where one could be banned for far lesser things just because moderators were idiots and cared more for the letter of their rules (and their own egos, they even had rules specifically for protecting it…) than the forum community or any individuals in it. I’m glad this place is completely different.
Admittedly, I rarely watch your videos, but there’s no harm in posting them. Indeed, it’s probably better to have them grouped by aircraft rather than having them lumped into a single thread. Makes finding relevant ones a breeze.

Toro keep it up… its not anyones job to say to you what to do in here other than moderators…
To the newbies around that harass and bully Toro: Guys Toro was always like this and we like him… hes beeing around since 2011 so show some respect to him. Most of the videos (At least) he posts is on point of each thread and valuable (most of the times) references. What is your problem if he just post in an old thread? i say its quite good sometimes cause someone like me or other 3d modelers around here might see it and think “hmmm… maybe we have to give some love to that aircraft as well” Im one of those who saw a video in an old thread from Toro and said ok i will revive this model and actually thinking about this one as well but i have to many to finish already now. Im no moderator or Dev in this forum or have no authority whatsoever… But please respect the years he is in this forum before you got here.
Cheers!

Considering that SP pre-dates YouTube by several years, it does raises the question how Toro coped with his video addiction during the dark ages of the internet

Ah… the SP years… still got on my wall the cover of 1/48 F-16CJ Of Hasegawa… (20th fw) and written on it with a permament marker and calligraphic letters on the corner FalconSP V.3. Idont remember being part of the forums back then. I did got involved when FF first got out… OF never was ok for me for some reason i had issues with nvidia back then (flipped normals) Then when i started using Radeons i got to know BMS and got hooked :). First encounter with SP was version 1 from a friend copied in a CD-rom…
Damn we getting old and yeah internet back then was sh#t, specially here in Greece… half a day for a couple of mp3s…most of us still had dial up back then. And by the way i was serious of saying that i think of making this aircraft as well… but as said slowly… still got a lot to do…
Cheers
