Game FREEZING when I hit COMMIT? HELP!

I bought a new “gaming” laptop that plays all my other sims perfectly fine. I went to see BMS in all of her glory on my new machine. I installed BMS 4.33 UI1. When I hit COMMIT the game freezes and doesn’t go to the next loading screen? I know there were some post on it here but did anyone ever find a fix to this?

Windows 10
i5 6300HQ 2.3 / 8gb Ram / 4gb GTX960m

Control Panel ->power options ->set maximum performance
