Please - Naval squadron floating , not following carrier, how to… - Solved
-
Sorry but, I’ve tried , searched the forum , nobody didnt wrote a solution… just … i did it … , solved … etc … ok , but how da f**k you did, please!?
(except if I missed somewhere), I’ve lost an hour just to not find the solution … and that’s probably a simple one!… We clearly should start categorize some things… or think about another PDF …not just write a post about: Falcon-Secrets – … use Search , do you feel lucky, so do you punk?!
Naval-ops pdf old and new (don’t mention the issue at all)…
Ok, what I have, is set obj-id from carrier to squadron , but where, which page? MC ? Tacedit? Picture?
Please , help, link, post, pictures, whatever , i’ll take BadBoy?
Cheers
----edit
Error caused by MC , when transferring squadron to the carrier, … when I’ve cleaned up that mess , all squadrons move with carrier as a joke Well done BMS team.!!!
So … it wasn’t Bms’s fault afterall:done

edited, errors in calculation
Ok, I’ve figured out myself
It is TacEdit , no such option in MC , (I can’t find it). edit: well, there is but is not editable, it is automatic
…
and there is a bug in MC when transfering (moving) squadrons to the carrier, it uses wrong CampId , instead of (F4) ID, so all transfers to the carrier end up
at the AirbaseObjective instead NavalUnit - and since no option to manually enter ID … only solution , delete squadron…- when adding new squadron , all OK (id is what is have to be)
So, In tacedit, Squadron page, just search for Airbase #### , there must be same ID#### of NavalUnit (taskforce carrier unit id)… if something else … squadron is bugged
But, again :)) , if you save your .tac with Tacedit , it will be full of errors … soo… think it is unusable for editing anymore… ran over by time…
…I knew it was simple, but …doh.
Actually I wouldn’t recommend all this procedure to anyone, it isn’t ‘SAFE’ to edit even with TacEdit , nor too much with MC also(yet) , without backup at the first place… just a bit of warning.
Possible screwups all along…Case closed
