New User/New Install - Cockpit Console Question
-
I followed the directions in the ‘BMS Manual, Simulations Specifics BMS 4.33’ to install BMS 4.33 Setup u1 … I’m on Win 10 (X64). It’s a fresh install, that is, never had any other versions installed.
I’m finding that when I attempt the TE, Ramp Up, that the cockpit consoles don’t match with those of the BMS 4.33 manuals I have. For instance, the ‘ext lighting’ is on the right cockpit console not the left - and it appears differently, different markings, different switches.
… another example - the switch to open/close the canopy is on the right side of the cockpit, not the left. I can’t follow the BMS manuals for ramp start because the cockpit consoles appearing on my screen are different then as shown in the BMS manual ramp up procedure.Does this description sound familiar or trigger any thoughts? I’m questioning whether my install went right. Or if was there anything more I needed to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have selected a flight in the planning screen that is not an F-16. When you select the TE and enter the planning window, ensure you have selected the correct flight. If you are flying mission 1, this point is specifically covered in the training manual discussion for the mission.
