Cursor lock on TGP for AGM-65D
-
After I learned how to confirm the boresight handoff and flew to the target, I was ready to slew the cursor to the target on TGP with the Warthog slew control but it was stuck. Here’s the picture:
Is this a failure that’s coded into the sim and how do I get the cursor unstuck?

It looks like the TGP is still slaved to the SPI/FCR. I would think just slewing TGP would do it but my next instinct is TMS-right to switch TGP into AREA.

Thanks, TMS right did it.
Must have been I didn’t have a valid track on target and had to reject it, like it says on Training.pdf p125 and p129. -
TMS UP should also work.

The problem remains. The SPI should have been slewed since jc1 claims there was cursor input.
From my end, it works as it should. -

From my end, it works as it should.LEECH is right that the problem remains. So the question remains why does the cursor get stuck? Do I have a defective Warthog slewing button or is the stuck cursor coded into BMS to force the pilot to make a decision to abort the mission? So I made 2 attempts at running the training TE 14.
The first attempt the cursor was stuck. I’m around 17 miles from the ship. Here’s the pictures of the FCR and TGP :
The second attempt the cursor was unstuck. I’m around 18 miles from the ship.
I hope that I don’t have an intermittent problem with my Warthog slewing button. Hopefully the stuck cursor is a planned part of the sim. If LEECH and nobody else has this problem, then I guess I’ll have to be contacting Thrustmaster. Does anyone else have the stuck cursor?

I think you misunderstood.
I do not have that problem. In fact I yhink you are the first to report this issue, and the problem remains at your end and this needs to be solved.
Could you please make a video ?. It would help. -
