      Hi and cheers and thank you for making such an awesome sim. As the title of this post says, is there a “save” file in my config or user folder that I need to delete or clear out? It seems now no matter which aircraft I’m in doing my startup, as soon as I load the DTE both mfds go blank and it says blank. I’ve been saving the comms data before each training mission, too many times maybe? This is new and just started today.

      Thank you, I’m new with this sim and I have so much to learn, this one had me stuck and I couldn’t find in other info.

        Default MFD pages are stored in the data cartridge. Did you by chance hit the “Clear” or “Reset” selection in the 2D Data Cartridge screen? Because I think one of those (I can never remember which) wipes everything from your DTC, including all your MFD presets.

        There are other ways you could’ve erased your MFD presets (via config folder files, WDP, etc.), but the scenario above seems most likely.

        Edit:

        @BMS:

        6.1.1 Common Buttons
        There are 3 common buttons on all the DTC tabs: CLEAR, LOAD and SAVE.

        • CLEAR clears the entire callsign.ini file.

        Edit2:

        Also, looking at your screenshot, I see UHF and VHF frequencies. That indicates they were punched in manually on the ICP. Is that supposed to show your “saved comms data”? Because if it did, it would show pre-set channels (1 - 20), not frequencies.

        In which case it may indicate that you’re not saving your data cartridge before going to 3D or you’re not loading it when you’re ramp starting.

          I believe I fixed it by hitting reset on each tab on the data cartridge
          After hitting Clear:

          After hitting reset:

          I did hit clear earlier. This is a case of needing to read the manual more.
          Thanks for you time and reply
          Salute!
