Windows 10 and the Microprose Falcon 4 disk
-
I have just had the most challenging test of my computing skill attempting to install the original disk in my Windows 10 computer. The setup program loads and then I select the Setup Falcon 4 option. This disk begins to run for about seven seconds and just stops. I took this same disk upstairs to my wife’s Windows 8.1 computer and the program installed without delay. The disk I am using is one I created using Power ISO. I seem to have misplaced my original disk. It kind of makes me wonder what in the heck is happening. I have tried the compatibility options with no joy. I am wondering, also, if someone else is having this problem with a Windows 10 computer. BMS 4.33 works phenomenally. It is too bad the new version could not use the same strategy to install.
I am really thankful for the excellent work done by benchmark sims over the years. I have been flying Falcon 4 long before I knew that even needed a 3d video card and I am sure that it makes me seem like a real old timer. All throughout these many years, Benchmark Sims has add a great dose of realism to this sim.
Thanks
Raven:)

Hey Badger, thanks, it worked just the way you said. I am so happy, I really do not know how to tell you. I am really a beast of a man when I cannot fly in the BMS environment. My wife has mentioned that I should change my call sign to Venom.
