Voice / Radio for multi-player question

I haven’t tried online multi-player flying yet.
Was wondering are the comm transmit switches (UHF/VHF) on the Cougar throttle mapped to the teamspeak or ivc “push to talk” or is it an open mic thing?
For realism I’d like to use the HOTAS switches for transmitting.

Assuming you use the HOTAS callbacks, they are push to talk commands.

Yes, push to talk. I fly on falcon online and we will setup and brief on TS, then when in sim we mute TS and fly using the IVC client.
