Man ithe loop - slam-er

Is it possible to somehow update the spi via fcr (or tgp) when in cruise or term mode , for missile already in flight?
Scenario is like this, visibility is s**t , inclement 6000ft , about 7nm., daytime.
Slam-er has great range (original like 200+ nm) , and visual targeting is out of question at that point, so…
I fire on ship from somewhat 80nm via fcr-sea and markpoint.
Can guide the missile to spi in cruise at 1000ft just fine ,… at 20nm switch to term, looking l/r. , but at sea there’s little ref points for orientation, almost none
…, ship has already moved and spi is old so , I just can’t find her.
And it is a big ship , FF JangWei (model is diiferent , tho, nvm). When flying low and firing late , less <10nm , I can see her in wpn screen just fine. but we’re missing the point here, standoff range.
So, is there a way to do it like in question?

Hi,
Thing with the bubble is as follows - Currently all A-G missiles have a “temporary bubble” that is located at the center of the missile target to some radius (I think 1NM but not sure) so technically you should be able to see the ship if it’s in the temp bubble. However, the whole trick of temporary bubble will work only while the player is not more than ~70NM from the temporary bubble position, that is still a limitation of the design and not much can be done about it I guess.

Hey,
well I know you’re right , but look at the hsd , I’m about 30nm out from stp7 (tgt) , and still nothing on wpn screen , even slam-er is on top of the ship.
(its a bit hard to see, there are 2 ships on 2nd picture, one a bit left and one just below slam-er)
I’ve checked the size of bubbles for slam-er and jangwei in Lodedit and they are in range 5-20nm , so should be sufficient, also sensor IR-54 used by slam-er has about 5-10nm…Again no problem if myself in bubble , can target slam-er all the way on practically anything.
But, it appears to me, imho, that this new 'temporary bubble ’ is not working just right yet.
Don’t get me wrong here, I think it is still marvelous achievement in Falcon, hit a deaggr. target from such great standoff ranges.
In the old days, harpoons had ranges like mavericks and penguins, now , darn, I’ve destroyed 2 ships from 70+nm , still, well done guys.
I was just hoping that we could use even half of the real standoff range with slam-er , 70nm is still great (less sa-n-6 problems
), but this creates another problem, spi update, in other words we should be able to
update spi of the missile in flight via fcr-ag, because of moving targets would never be on that location after missile traveled 70nm …huh…. first things firstAnyways, thanks for checking.
