Weird objects in mid-air

Hi,
The latest Balkans (the ‘c’ version) + hotfix 1.
I fly an instant action mission just to check if everything works OK. I chase 4 bombers, have them all on my FCR display, TWS mode, lock them in a quick succession and fire four AMRAAM’s. The AIM120’s find their targets, the bombers go down in flames. But as I approach the area when they were hit, I notice something like this:The situation takes place over Sicily.

The bomber model has different lod, I think that they use the destroyed building lod number for the destroyed bomber lod number. You can edit this in lodeditor.

What Nurse said or a FUBARed 3d database cause of the Lodeditor… or F4browse… Common issue… Hope that they had step by step backups.

Thank you very much, gents. At least I know the reasons for the glitch. I can’t use the LOD Editor, but that’s no-one to blame for (except myself, perhaps
).

I appreciate your hard work, friends; but when significant changes have been applied to a theatre, we’re all beta testers in a sense, right? So, here’s what happened to me again, this time with the latest Update applied:
Instant action, the second wave of enemy aircraft, when MiG-21’s, MiG-19’s and Su-25’s appear (you can see ‘21’ on the RWR). This time the situation is pretty distant from the area where the last bomber was destroyed, so it probably isn’t the debris. I’m posting this only to indicate that something needs correcting.

Did you download and install the latest update? Should be update 1 now. Not a hotfix.

The Force is strong in this one.

Update, no doubts.
Edit: When you posted the Update link, I DL’ed it and deleted the Hotfix from my HD to make sure I wouldn’t do something stupid… So it was physically impossible for me to apply the Hotfix by mistake.

Can you tell me what aircraft those buildings are suppose to be? That would give me a better idea of which aircraft to look at.

@ TommyGun….did it ask if you wanted to overwrite files when you installed the update? If not, then it is not installed correctly. Make sure you install the update to the Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 Folder…the root folder for BMS.

Sorry for not replying immediately, I badly needed some sleep
I’ll try to install the Balkans and Update again and then see what happens.Edit: Good thing you mentioned the overwriting of files, as I couldn’t remember any such question from the updater. So I reinstalled the Balkans, then (just in case) manually extracted the files from the Updater and copied them to where they should belong, this time certainly overwriting some files. Tried IA, scored some 10 quick kills in the first two waves, and - so far so good! I didn’t observe any anomalies. I do apologise for the obviously false alarm last night. Thank you for your hard work and for your input in this thread helping me to sort things out to the best effect.
