F-18 pit

Last night I thought i would try the F-18 pit So I loaded up a TE to learn the setup in the cockpit but to my suprise 90% of the switches didn’t work pit was in the the 3D mode No joy

Well, we have a few pics in a recent thread about the Harrier and the Hornet functioning in a carrier ops environment. So I would hope that the Hornet is getting some work done as well. 4.33 looks promising!

Do they have access to information for making flight models equivalent to that of the F-16 for the Hornet and Harrier?

F-18 is not to be considered as flyable yet.

Agreed. But, as DeeJay pointed out, the F-18 is not flyable “yet”!

If you want to fly the F-18 with an F-16 pit here is a thread with downloads:

While not a perfect solution, it will allow you to ramp start your chosen aircraft and operate all of the switches.

This is for mower

a couple of nights ago i was watching a youtube video of the F-18 launching from a carrier It even showed the deck crew, the F-18 launched flew to target and destroyed it came back landed on the carrier
But what impressed me the most was while fly the pit it showed most all switches and buttons as workable I was wondering where he got the pit mod and if it is available If So Where

I was really impressed by the deck crew interacting

And you know that the fbms bug will not be as good? I think over time . The Hornet for fbms will evolve. It may be release fully functional or partially. The carrier ops would be just as difficult to implement as would the bug itself. To see where fbms is at now from 5 years ago has proven these guys know what there doing. Don’t be surprised if they get the bug and carrier ops working
in fbms.

As you could see the buttons and controls were working and I would like to get it if possible It would make my simm play a lot better

This is so true. I have since given up on 4.33 and keenly awaiting for DCS Harrier/Mirage/F18.
