Well, after being gone something like 1 1/2 to 2 years, I come to find out that BMS has become unequivocally beyond reproach in terms of its relationship with the publishers, developers, community, and particularly, lawyers.
I’m SO PROUD of our guys, what they’ve accomplished over the years, and the absolute passion they have for the sim.
There are literally too many names to mention, but in particular, Jammer and Boxer (and Mrivers just cuz. :)) ventured on a journey something like 10 years ago (heck I’m too damned old to remember). These guys represent a very tight group of people that have bled, begged, pleaded for the continuity of Falcon, and much is owed to them. Although I know they would want no accolades for their achievements, I’m sure there is a simple pleasure to know this sim is still alive and well loved. If you knew what I knew, you’d know how hard they worked, how much patience they had, and how calm they remained over numerous and contentious issues over the years. And yet, they persevered.
I’m humbled and truly honored to have been a tiny tiny part of that type of community.
Next beer I drink will be for the BMS Devs! You guys rock!

Real life stuff is what happened, lol. Met a beautiful woman, started a new company (integratedarc.com), and have been passionately following both of those dreams! How you been?

No idea who you are but welcome back. I logged on today with plans on deviating from my normal “how do you…” posts and to just post a “Thank You” to BMS because I have been having such a great time flying this sim. You have said it much better than I ever could have. So my simple words are: Thanks once again BMS. Keep this bird flying!!

Absolutely NOTHING comes close to BMS, it’s the best sim in the world. I have seen and lived through the whole Falcon 4.0 saga, all the patches, branches and versions: what a great story of passion.
The best community, the best sim.
