Black Screen on startup, have to force restart everytime I try

Hello all,

I’m having a problem with Falcon BMS 4.33U1. My falcon BMS keeps going to a black screen when I start up the sim. I can run the original game fine, but when I try to run the Falcon BMS 4.33U1 it goes to a black screen and I can’t Alt Tab or Ctrl Alt Delete so I have to force restart. The problem seems to occurred when I switched from my buddys TV to my bigger tv which is 1920 by 1080. I tried uninstalling and still problems occurs. Any help would be much appreciative!

Have you tried disabling intro movie?

Sure cause you provided few info. can you please tell us what hardware and software do you use?
just a quick and dirty guess is to locate dx9display.dsp file and erase it. Don’t worry on next run falcon recreates the file but with your current setup and most importantly your new monitor that you have changed.

Did you make sure that the TV monitor drivers were correctly installed or did Windows select a Generic Driver? My first action would be to get the correct drivers for the TV/Monitor and install those
