Mission Commander_?reduce unit status?

Can I reduce the status of a AD Battalion, with Mission Commander?
I have tried (guessed) with out success

Still not very clear what you mean.
If you mean that you want to change the amount of vehicles in the battalion, which is what the status in the recon screen indicates.
Open the battalion you want to change.
On the left side on the battalion screen you see the vehicles (entities) the battalion is build up from.
The Max column is indicating how many of that vehicle can be in that slot.
The Act column is the amount that is actually there.
Click the line you want to change, than click again to change the number in the Act column.
Save and you are done.

Nope, you can not change how the Battalion is build up with vehicles in MC.
That needs to be done by editing the database. Use the BMS Editor for that.
