Problems setting custom FOV with Eyefinity
-
Hi everyone,
I recently installed Falcon BMS 4.33 U1, and am having trouble getting a custom FOV setting to work with my triple screen Eyefinity setup. I found the instructions for modifying the falcon bms.cfg file (set g_fDefaultFOV 120; set g_fMaximumFOV 120), but when i get into the sim, I still can’t get a FOV larger than 80 degrees. Is there something I’m missing?
My setup:
i5-4690k
AMD R9 280x
8gb ram
3x Asus 24" monitors in Eyefinity
Windows 10Thanks!

welcome yeap two things control what you want:
set g_fDefaultFOV 120 //set g_fDefaultFOV 60
set g_fMaximumFOV 140 //set g_fMaximumFOV 80 // Limits the maximum amount that the FOV can be increased <<<<–----- This is optional clearly personal favor
set g_fViewlimitPitchDown 90.0 // Overrides all A/C viewlimit_pitch_down values from the 3dckpit.dat files, max. 90.0, only higher values take effect
Those are my settings for 3 screen. You can adjust as you wish. Has and the default values just in case.

Thanks, that combo of settings seem to have worked!
Now to learn how to fly.
