Radar Cursors antenna altitude in 4.33 u1
AA mode altitude shows negative numbers in mfd both in the air and on the ground
This just started about a month agoI have both 4.33 and 4.33 u1 installed in 4.33 everything works great no problems I use the same settings in 4.33 U1 as in 4.33 Same hotas setup in both sims , I have uninstalled 4.33 u1
And reinstalled it but to no avail SO I have been just flying 4.33 . Any suggestion on this matter.
Driving me crazyThanks

turn your antenna elevation on your throttle…

I’m having the same issue in 4.33 U1. My FCR shows red negative numbers next to the slewable cursor. I’ve tried adjusting the radar antenna, zeroing and readjusting but still no joy.

Not zeroing …. that cancels cursor deltas to the current steerpoint. It does not change the antenna elevation angle. This shows whether the antenna is looking up, down or centered:
Change the antenna elevation to change the altitudes scanned.

Sorry I meant centering the antenna not zeroing but still no joy after continuously trying to adjust the antenna.

If your cursors are showing the FCR scanning at negative elevation (red numbers next to the cursor box) it means, basically, that your radar is pointed at the ground. A screen shot of your FCR might help (might not). Also at what range? Both the FCR range and the cursor range. If you, say, 80nm on the FCR and the cursors are way at the bottom of the FCR, that might do it. Or, maybe, if you’re very low to the ground an on a 1 bar scan.
There is no ‘BMS reason’ that you should have this issue …. operator, porked install … something, but not BMS ‘bug’ as far as I am aware.

It might be an issue with your hotas or a stuck key constantly inputting a command to lower the elevation of the antenna. The Warthog Target software has an issue with shifted keys being used as press and hold keys this way. I’m not sure if other hotas may have same issue.

Saitek too.
