X52 on the cheap

So I found one on eBay listed as “not working” but after speaking to the seller, apparently the only defect is it’s missing the screw that adjusts the pinky switch height. Big mistake (I think) on the seller’s part because I got it for $10. Check it out:
I’m thinking I could simply find a screw that fits, or use a small block of wood and electrical tape to secure the pinky switch and then I’ve got a $130 HOTAS
Think that would work?

It was easy to adjust the height and secure the handrest with a piece of cardboard and some tape. Works fine for me. Also did the spring tension mod with some zip-ties and the “simple magnet mod.”
However, that guy neglected to mention he didn’t have the cable connecting the joystick to the throttle. (scammer:mad:) Luckily it’s an easy replacement: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?p_id=92
