Gear Up Landing
-
Is it possible in BMS to do a gear up landing? I was on a mission returning with a shot up jet and the gear refused to extend. I decided to eject rather than risk the fiery death.

Yes, it is possible to do a belly landing. However, did you try the alternate gear release?

Embarrassingly this is the first time that I have heard of that. I am still on 4.32 until I get my i5 machine, is this deployed on that?

Yes. Default key command is (I think; IIRC) ALT-G, or hit the alt gear handle on the mid-left panel …. near the gear handle/gear lights (again, IIRC).

Have a look at the Landing Emergencies section (page 182-) of the BMS-Dash1.pdf document in your \Falcon BMS 4.32\Docs\Falcon BMS Manuals folder. It takes you through the different scenarios and offers advice on your options.
