Missing callbacks in Helios
-
Hi all, i am trying to create an Helios profile for M2000-D. I encounter the following problem : some callbacks in my “file”.key are missing in the falcon interface in BMS.
For example in my key file i have :SimStepMissileVolumeUp 116 3 0X1B 3 0 0 1 “AUDIO1: MSL Knob - Volume Incr.”
SimStepMissileVolumeDown 116 4 0X1A 3 0 0 1 “AUDIO1: MSL Knob - Volume Decr.”and when i do a search for “Missile” in Helios interface the only lines returned are :
SimMissileStep STICK:NWS A/R DISC MSL STEP SWITCH
SimToggleMissileCage TQS:MAN RANGE Knob - UNCAGE
SImRWRLaunch TWP: MISSILE LAUNCH - PushNo trace of MissileVolume
And when i check in BMS SETUP
“AUDIO1: MSL Knob - Volume Incr.” is assigned to SHIFT CRTL $
“AUDIO1: MSL Knob - Volume Decr.” is assigned to SHIFT CRTL ^Does someone know what is the problem ?
Thanks in advance for helping. -
Helios does not have anything to do with your callbacks… it’s you .key file that lists your callbacks.
Helios DOES have some issues with certain keys, like Numpad 0 and Numpad Enter IIRC. Not sure about 0x1A and 0X1B, but try to re-map those callbacks to something else and see if it shows up.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for helping. I have tried to map the callbacks to SHIFT CONTROL O and SHIFT CONTROL P but they aren’t moved up in Helios. I’ll assign a keystroke as workaround.

What do you mean “they aren’t moved up in Helios”?? When you say “I’ll assign a keystroke as workaround,” isn’t SHFT+CTRL+O and SHFT+CTRL+P already a “keystroke”? I’m confused by what you’re trying to say.

I mean that even if i change in setup the keys assigned to the action “AUDIO1: MSL Knob - Volume Incr.” in BMS and then i open the key file in Helios the callback doesn’t appear.
So as it doesn’t appear to do this action in BMS with an Helios switch i have assigned a keyboard send key to “position one entered” in the output bindings of the switch.
