Using the warthog stick and cougar throttle
-
I’m not sure. How do I find out? I purchased it around April of this year.
-
I just looked through Windows device manager and there isn’t any info on its firmware. On the TUSBA itself it says JOD/JOB? Code 0108. That’s all I can find because the firmware upgrade program will not see .NET Framework and install.
-
If you run the RS_HID_DEV_TOOL software it will tell you which firmware is installed and give you a graphical interface for calibration and setup. Run DCC to install firmware; I think it will have a list of available…but the latest download may only contain the latest one. I’ve saved all of my previous ones.
If you are having issues with the HID, DCC, or firmware, I’d suggest e-mailing RealSim directly. They are very responsive and have even fixed a few things I’ve reported in previous firmware releases…they’ve been very helpful for me!

Make sure you get the TUSBA-R2 and not the original -R1 because it is not firmware upgradable and wont work with the calibration software.
-
Interesting…I knew there were multiple reasons I got the R2 - missed that one!
-
TUSBA R1 works fine if all you want is a simple plug and play solution which you can check/calibrate the axes through Windows 7 Game Controllers software.
-
Or you can go with my setup…. Just leave the Cougar connected and put it somewhere behind your desk
That’s an excellent idea… however will you still be able to use the DX shifted layer using the pinky switch on the WT stick in combination with the throttle?
All the best, Uwe

Hi. Just bought TUSBA R2 myself.
Buttons 1, 6 and 9 are middlepositionmarkers. Ie, when you push “dogfight/mastermode override” switch fwd to MRMoverride mode: button 6 light go off (another light for MRM position go on) When push it back again to middleposition/cancel override: button 6 lights up again. Likewise when push it bwd to SRM.
Button 9: same thing but for Airbrakeswitch.
Was it this that was your question? Best Regards, Michael
