Modifiers + Joystick?

I just started playing this after an addiction to DCS, so mostly this is about keeping my muscle memory intact, but is there a way to assign modifier keys to joystick functions within BMS? (I.e, alt + hat for DMS, ctrl + hat for TMS, etc?)

I haven’t seen any profiles that way but you can assign a button on the Joystick to be a shifter for DX mappings. So in effect you can assign a secondary function to all the buttons by holding down the “Shift” button on the joystick.

Generally speaking no, but it depends on the joystick you have. I’ve got a T16000m set up with TARGET and an appropriate keyfile to do just this and it works wonderfully.
