      hi

i’ve configured my saitek x52 throttle buttons to TMS RIGHT & TMS UP.
and i can see it in mt falcon settings.
BUT, in the sim itself when i press those buttons nothing happens.
      Any idea?

It should work, but have you tested it with targets? You only can see results with pressing on multiple targets, otherwise you have to hold the button to see something changing

Which throttle buttons? I use an X-52 Pro and it takes some tricks in Windows to get it to do what I really want. But I have been able to get the mode selector rotary working for AA/AG, enabled the the mouse click next to the ministick, the buttons on the base, and the wheel in the back of the throttle using only DX programming and no Saitek software.

Which one is button 8? Did you make sure the clutch was disabled in the Windows settings? I had an issue where everything seemed to work until I got into 3D and then things stopped responding. Try leaving the Properties Window (Control Panel->Devices and Printers->X52->Controller Properties->Properties–Or the same place you disable the clutch button) open in the background while you fly and see if that works. Leaving it open during play enabled all 32 DX buttons on the stick/throttle, but closing it out took away some of them, such as the button by the ministick and the Mode Selector on the stick.

MorteSil, sounds like you might want to mess with the SST profile a little. You can create a profile that leaves those accessible without leaving windows open 😛

Win7 Ultimate x64 drivers are garbage. Not signed so Windows won’t use them. Even if you boot into the mode that allows them during installation it kills them during a normal boot. I played with this forever trying to get it to work, and finally gave up and just went straight DX. It doesn’t make much difference though, it’s a small window hidden behind the UI so I can’t even see it.
