Newbie needs help with HOTAS setup

First I am completely new to BMS. I am using a Saitek X55 and cannot get the throttle to work in game. I have read the closest doc to it in the Doc folder. (X52), watched a couple of tutorials, and I am still stumped. I can get movement from the calibration page of the setup menu, but get nothing in the sim. I have tried both X and Y rotation axis from the advanced page and neither works. I am thoroughly confused!

! Fixed ! For some reason, it has to be set from the stick, NOT throttle.
