These two things are incompatible. If you followed all the procedure, the jet would start.
No way to know what you missed from your (lack of) description. Have you checked YouTube for BMS Ramp Start procedures?

If you look to the right, past directly at it, you can actually see it, because the head/camera position moves as you turn your head. You need to look further back than say, the oxygen controls, to see it.
I would suggest that if it doesnt start, perhaps the instructions havent been followed, or perhaps you ran out of battery, or perhaps you ran out of accumulator, or perhaps you didnt click the JFS properly…
At a guess, try right clicking the JFS rather than left clicking. Or map it to a keyboard button.
Edit: Sniped!

If you don’t have head tracking , you can move your head position to see the air source knob by holding the scroll wheel button (if you mouse has a click button under the scroll wheel that is).

If you want to see the Source Knob when ramping go to 2D press “2” above the “W” look to the right and it will be visible. Click it and go back to 3D with “3” above the “W”…

just tested jfs and its definitely right mouse click, the only other thing to check is the gen power switch is to power, although it will work if set to batt.
