      Hi,

Anyone have this problem where they get both the Windows mouse cursor (the white arrow) appearing in the cockpit with the BMS mouse cursor (the green grabber)? The Windows arrow doesn’t do any clicking so it’s kind of pointless and distracting to have it there. Is there a way to stop it from appearing?

      Cheers

Did you ALT-TAB by chance and then alt tab back in?

i’m sure he did unless he runs windowed mode 🙂

yes don’t alt tab or don’t click outside the ui or 3D windows when you use windowed mode

I’d say never alt TAB… windows or full screen.
Never worked for me… or it worked only once or two then I had to close falcon and bla bla…

When you see the Windows cursor in the sim, try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del and subsequently cancelling the appearing Windows screen. This should clear the Windows cursor from the sim.

To avoid this problem make sure everything is set up correctly so you do not need to [ALT + TAB] in game.

As johku pointed out [CTRL + ALT + DEL] followed by [ESC] will get rid of the windows cursor if you do.

Ahhh… yes, I realised it was the Alt+Tab and back in that brought in the Windows arrow. Guess the arrow wanted a piece of the action.

I Alt+Tabbed often because I needed the manual, haha!

Thanks for the tip on Ctrl+Alt+Del and Esc. Will try it.

                  Cheers!

Change the following lines in your falcon bms.cfg:

                      set g_bEnableExclusiveMouseCapture 0
                      set g_bMouseButton4TogglesClickablePit 1

This will prevent the dual mouse from appearing in game in the first place. Also works when you’re working with dual screen if you want to manage things on your second screen.
(in case of dual screen you need the toggle to disable the mouse, because otherwise you can get a second mouse on the second screen when you go back to Falcon.)
