Default Theater after BMS restart??

Hi,
Can somebody help, and tell me, where is configured in BMS,which theater will be loaded in next BMS start? And how to set another theater instead of current one?

Default Theater is the KTO theater.

If you want to change it, go to the main screen, and click on the top right “theater” and then select the theater you want and press ok or select or whatever is written under the list.

If you want to see all the theaters, go to your installation directoy: …\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition and open the “theater.lst” to see all the theaters you got. If you want to add a theater, add the line for the theater in that list. The line you have to enter is most of the times in the post of the theater or in a “Readme” file

You select the theater you want to fly next while still in the sim, choosing the THEATER option from the menu line of the UI. The list of all available theaters will unfold. After you make your choice, you should exit the program and restart it to fly in the newly selected theater.

My situation:
Start = Balkan
went to theater and set KTO Strong.
Restart = KTO strong.
Restart once again = Balkan :mad: WTF?

Sorry for this (probably) dumb question, but are you sure that after picking KTO Strong from the list, you confirmed your choice clicking [OK] under the theater picture window?

If I havent did that, I didnt get KTO Strong after first BMS restart. Problem is that Balkan returns after another BMS restart. This really drives me crazzzzzzyyyeee!!

You have to select the KTO theater or whichever you want and then press “OK” otherwise it will not load the theater but goes back to Balkan

Other question, in which line of the list did you put the Balkan theater?

You can change it in the registry if you know how to do that.

I dont know, what is going on in my PC with BMS, but the Balkan is able to overwrite the reg data a sneak in every time a run my PC.
If I want to run KTO Strong, before every BMS start I have to run my own KTO Strong regist file with proper theater filled in.
Is the order of theaters in BMS theater setup somehow factor? Or can it be changed?

It seem, that because I recently reinstalled the Balcan, it put itself into first row. Therefore it was load at every start as a default theater. Now I tried to put KTO in first row and it seems that, now the problem is finally solved.

Mmmm that is weird. I have never seen that before. I tried to switch between Korea strong and Balkans and back and didn’t have any problems that I noted.

I had the same issue, kept on defaulting to Balkans. I had to edit the theatre in registry.

I’ve seen a similar behaviour on my system where I’m in the process of migrating BMS to Linux Mint (more on that later). I’ve symlinked my Ikaros Data folder to the windows partition so I don’t have to keep 2 copies of it (one on Linux, one on win7), and when I forget to mount the win7 partition before launching BMS, it automatically reverts to KTO.

Probably not related to your problem, though. If your Data folder / BMS install situated on a “regular” hard disk?

these lines just to let you know neither I have ever had issues in switching to any else theater from Balkans since its first release. I have installed BMS on my HDD and I’m using successfully Novum’s ‘Switcher’ utility since a pair of months ago or so.

The order in which theaters appear in the Theater.lst file does not matter.

This is an issue that seems to be exclusive to gumidekcz rig. Some kind of registry issue.

I’ve seen a few ppl have it in the past, but once they corrected it through the registry it was solved.

His seems to continue to get stuck for unknown reasons??
