Exploding on Takeoff

Hi All,
I have been flying Campaign missions in the Israeli Theater without problem for a while. Then today when trying to rotate (IAF F-16-30), without any warning I exploded. I discarded the mission, tried again, and the same thing happened. Has anyone else had this issue? I was wondering if it had to do with my weapons loadout. Normally I just use the default loadout, but I was bored of using SPICE bombs for everything, and since this was an OCA Strike on a runway, I thought it would be more fun to come in NOE and use MK-82 AIR’s. I loaded 12 of them. Could that be a cause?

I had a similar issue with another theather into a TE edited mission, but with no results of investigation.
Probably a wrong setup of the payload, I suppose… -
Confirm the rwy status 100% operational? If rwy damaged, then exploding in rolling phase could be possible.

Landing gear handle up? Over rotation? Bomb crater on the runway? It would be good to test fast-taxi rotate/no-rotate, different loads, etc.

the airfield can technically allow launches with not enough runway stretch to survive heavy takeoffs,
you’re probably running into a bomb crater and then blowing up.
either wait until the airfield’s repaired or takeoff from another runway/the taxiway.

So I checked and the airfield (Ramat David) was 100%. Then I tried reducing my weapons load (from 12 Mk-82 AIR’s down to 6) and I quit exploding. In a later mission the next day I had the same problem, this time with CBU’S (I think it was 8 CBU 97’s). I tried reducing my load to 6 CBU’s, and I had the same problem. When I finally reduced to 4 CBU’s, I again quit exploding. It seems like I can only carry bombs on the inner stations. Strange, right? For now I’m just carrying less ordinance, but obviously that’s not ideal!

Make sure there are no ground units on the runway

as long as the runway’s intact that shouldn’t be happening
you’re either hitting a unit, doing the takeoff wrong somehow(?) or your game is broke.
8 CBU is below weight limit so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I had a similar explosion in a theater (don’t remember which one), trying a very simple TE mission created by me, with no damages on the runway and just my flight all around.
Rotation speed was as usual, around 165 Kts…
So… still I don’t know! -
There might be some flaw or vertical step in the runway tiles that the F-16 survives at some weights but is damaged at higher weights.

That would make sense. I’ve been away for the last week only just got to check for replies…but yes, it seems to only happen when I am relatively close to max weight. I’ve been too busy to test other bases in the theater, but it definitely consistently happens when near max weight.

Nope. I’m not very savvy with mods, so I haven’t messed with anything….

If you hit infantry on the ground during takeoff, can you still blow up ??

Well, if you hit any units on the ground, you will most likely explode/die, so watch out for them
