How to find each IR DATA in DB editor?
-
Hi guys.
I am trying to find what “IR DATA” uses each missile in DB editor. How do you find it?
If you go to the weapons list, you can open a Radar missile and it contains which RADAR seeker uses (ex. seeker radar nr. 4 for AIM120B) but I can’t find which IR nr uses the AIM 9M or AIM9P
Any help please.

Thanks starrats buy it seems that I am looking for a more precise information.
As you can see there is a lot of IR sensors in Falcon. But I cannot find which one is for each missile.
On the other hand it is easy to find for the Radar Seekers
Unfortunately I can’t find the way to get that information for IR missiles.
This guy seems to have the way to find it -
SIM file Seeker type is 0
seeker version 2 this is matching up with info provided by OSDaim9p is IR 2
aim9b is IR 25I cant find this info in falcon editor though. might have to look into each sim file
what I mean is seeker version in sim file is your IR type -
There are only a few of sim files… I think that the seeker version in those files is only a general classification.

“but I can’t find which IR nr uses the AIM 9M or AIM9P”
aim9m is IR 1
Aim9p is IR 2if you are trying to change the IR type you would change it in the sim file
if you are changing the specs you would check which IR # that matches the missile you want to change. and adjust the sensors IR data in falcon editor.there should be a sim file for almost every missile

Please, where did you find the AIM9M nr?? I think i am looking in the bad place.
EDIT,
I think you were right at the first. C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Sim\Misdata
I was looking it in Sensdata
Thanks a lot!!

Hope that helps…
I guess i should have typed that address for sim files instead of just taking a screen shot of it. -
It wasn’t your fault, I thought that that number means a different thing.
Here is the result of my research!!

Nice! I am curious, are you making a list for personal use or what?
-
Yes, a list of the most used IR systems. In order to get information about how “dangerous” is a missile based on flares chance of defeat.

Well a public excel file or txt would be nice.
Adding it to my hotlist and why not in bms documents folder.Sent from TapaTalk
