        Hi!

        Uninstall ALL. Re-install from scratch.

It doesn’t wrork, Describe your install process step by step. (Most of the time, issue is between the chair and the keyboard … especially when users do not read carefully all the given instructions.)

New reinstall and the same problem.
U2 is in the same folder than U1. When i launch U1setup, U1 and U2 are selected, so i launch the install, in C:Falcon BMS 4.33 U1

When install done, game launch impossible, with the same error message.

                Your folder looks alight.

                i haven’t any dedicated U2 data folder.

Normal … I just renamed it to U2 on my side.

Maybe your update files are corrupt. My first DL of U2 did not work and had to delete file and DL U2 again. Then it installed correctly.

PS - I did not have the same problem as you. In my case, the installer would not run.

i’ve already download U2 twice. But the same at each install 😞

                    My system:
                    I3-3220
                    12Go memory
                    Radeon R9 290
                    SSD samsung 840 PRO
                    win seven 64

                    No problem with BMS U1

You can both update your existing U1 installation as well as perform a fresh U2 installation from scratch, as you like.

Are you applying U2 incrementally to U1, or are you installing U2 from scratch?

Update 2 must be targeted at the original Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 Setup folder, NOT at your Falcon BMS installation location

Be sure your mistake is not here.

                        i’ tried both, same result.

U2’s targeted in Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 setup folder, sure!

Re-boot your system by chance? Anti-virus off while DL-ing update? Sorry but I have no other ideas. Hope you get it sorted.

Problem solve, with a new DL of U2 without anti virus and with an install from a new windows session. Strange but functional.
Thanks to all for your help

Hey Wacco I had the same problem. When installing BMS U1 It did not install correctly due to my error. Did a second download and it installed OK. However with the 4.33 U2 I got a slightly different results, I got the installed correctly when I checked details in final phase of the install but no joy. I re-installed BMS 4.33 U2 but this time I hit the browse button to look for the BMS4.33 U1 setup and be hold I had three (3) BMS 4.33 U1 setup installs. I then checked my Document downloads and found the 1st download (listed by date), selected it and downloaded, ran and completed with no problem. The real problem was 3 separate downloads I was not aware of in C/ drive. So check to see how many setup’s are listed in downloads, turn off Anti virus and if you have several downloads of BMS 4.33 U1 as I did, just check each one for install. For info the original BMS 4.33 U1 will just say that, and each consecutive BMS download will have (2) (3) (4) after the phrase setup

Antivirus was probably kicking out files.

I’d also suggest to always verify that the SHA-1 checksum matches your downloaded file… you’ll save time in case of subtle corruptions. :headb:

Never checked. Only once I had trouble. I downloaded from different source. But for now there is no different source, didn’t check the post lately.
So re-download / erase - uninstall current version / reinstall (aka as the dance) is highly recommended in case you have issues or for old farts if it “feels” wrong.
