Mark Points Not Pointing to the Right Spot

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I can create the mark points and see them on the HSD where they are suppose to be. But when I make the mark point the current steer point (either the short way - 0 key - or - designating the current steer point as say 26) the mark point does not take me to the correct place but some unknown place off in the distance. In other words, I can create the mark points no problem but when I try to use the mark point to direct me to the correct place to bomb, I am pointed to a place far from the actual target. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Yep, I’d bet your marbles on it
OldFalcon, press OSB 9 (marked CZ) to clear any system delta (you’ll know you have one if the CZ is highlighted) and the markpoint will display where you expect.
Have a read of the -34 from page 141 (SPI Management) to understand what’s happening.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! The solution worked beautifully. I am now able to take out an entire tank column in one pass. Well much of it anyway. Plus the explanation you alluded to is easy to understand and explains what is going on. Knowing what and why and how things work is the primary reason I enjoy these sims. Looks like I will need to rely more on the documentation and less on the instructional videos in the future.

Instruction videos are often great sources, but be aware, that the most of them were made for 4.32. The SPI management for example is something completely new in 4.33.
Another Tip, use the SP (Snowplow-mode) the next time, you are making markpoints and you don´t have the problem with the system delta
