Measurements of F16 Stick for DIY controller

Hello,
since most of my simming Hardware broke down recently so I have been in the market for a new HOTAS setup. Since the Thrustmaster Warthog does not really seem ideal due to the lack of analogue axis I thought I would try to build my own Stick and throttle. I always wanted to try to do that and up till now it has been a fun and educational process.

I’m currently in the process of figuring out how to build the stick “handle”. I managed to get a pretty decent vector drawing of the stick by tracing pictures of the stick from the sides and from the back however I can’t find anything about the dimensions of the stick. I’m pretty sure I wont be able to build a 100% accurate f16 stick and I will have to make compromises along the way but I want to try to get as close as I can and getting the size right is something that really bugs me.

So I wanted to ask you if anybody would be so kind as to provide me with some basic measurements of an actual f16 grip or the grip of a Thrustmaster Cougar or Warthog (since those seem to be replicas if I’m not mistaken).
I need the distance between the top of the hand resting area (the flat round section at the bottom just below the pinky switch) and the top of the stick, the thickness of the grip front to back and left to right just above the place where your hand is resting as well as the thickness of the stick left to right at the top (ca. the place where the trim hat is) and the distance between the center of the trim hat and the dms hat.

I would be truly grateful if anybody could measure one or all of these places.

There are detailed CAD diagrams of the stick around the place… although I cannot seem to find them at present. Perhaps some of the guys at Viperpits might know where they are?
