As is always advised “restart BMS on any theater change.” However when I change theaters the EXE clearly quits and automatically restarts. Does this count as a BMS restart or do I have to do it again? Please no voodoo superstition answers.

No, it doesn’t. You have to manually restart after that. That’s for online playing. Not needed for single player. Cheers

Yes the old adage is true, without a real manual restart I will get “aircraft missing” errors

It’s easy to check it by your self.
If the registry points to the changed theater then u r ok, no manual restart needed.
But doesn’t bother u such behavior that something is wrong with your setup?
                I would redance.

I don’t think this is correct since many files are loaded at start up and besides ? Your advice is to alt tab , open regedit, search the correct key and check …

Yew , that seems far more time consuming than exit and restart BMS

                  LOL 🙂

Not true its also for offline play.

A big issue is a missing virtual cockpit when you load into the 3d. It does not happen all the time but it happends often enough

                      Nope, I’m not saying this.

He says it crashes and he is not sure if the change occurred .
So after the crash in windows check in registry.
                      That’s all.

This is not normal. As u can read I proposed to reinstall.
