BMS 4.33 4.33 U1 and U2 download U1 but setup and pilot information is not missing

I am a little confuse. I have downloaded 4.33 a few weeks ago and setup my HOTAS and Pilot information. Then today I download 4.33 U1. Is this an update or something completely different? Because I have two icons on my desktop one is 4.33 the other is U1. The original has all my pilot information but not 4.33 U1. If this is a update I see there is an 4.33 U2 should I go ahead and update then redo my HOTAS setup and Pilot info?

U1 is the stand alone full bms…add u2 as the new update from October… find links in the update section on the forum

4.33 was the release before the copyright kerfluffle

U1 is the standalone “full version” released after the copyright kerfluffle

U2 is a patch for U1

download U1 then copy all of your logbook and settings over, should be fine.

Have a read of the BMS-Manual, particularly the chapter on Installation.

From there:

BMS 4.33 Update 1 is a stand-alone version and does not need to be installed on top of BMS 4.33.

And page 17 will answer your setup info. Update 2 should not change your Update 1 config.
