I’ve just reinstalled Falcon and for some reason my HOTAS is not working correctly.

In the controller setup screen, something is happening that I’ve not noticed before. There is a drop down box that says keyboard, throttle, joystick and pedals. When one of these is selected, for example throttle, only the outputs of the throttle are showing up in the sliders, for example, if I move the stick, the square with the dot in the middle is non-responsive but the throttle slider works. If I change this drop down to joystick, now the x/y axis works (dot in the square) but the throttle sliders do not work.

I’ve never noticed this before. Unfortunately it means that whatever drop down is selected in the setup screen is the only input device that works in game. I.e., with throttle selected, the stick will not work.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this. Like I said, I’ve never seen this before!

      Cheers.

There should be an option ( COMBINED ) check the version of your target software and se if there is an update.

I don’t use target. Mine is all done with Dx functions. Its just the setup section of the controllers that is the problem. I may have identified the issue though - just testing my theory now……

Yes, it works. I reinstalled the warthog drivers and when I did this I noticed that one of the controllers was plugged into the Mobo, and the other was plugged into a USB hub. I changed it so they are both out of the mobo. Its working again now - not sure if it was the driver reinstallation or the changing USB ports though!
