Skin for Mano's Phantom

I am working on a single texture skin for Mano’s Phantom. Will post some pics of progress when appropriate. This will be my first high-quality skin and hope to do it justice. Mano’s asked for it to be a little dirty and to be an F-4E AUP skin . . . . again thanks Manos for the opportunity to be part of this worthwhile project.

The first step is gathering up various pieces and parts from the previous skin which was really quite excellent in 7 textures to establish a baseline PSD. The end result, I hope will be to produce a skin better than the previous one. Lets see how it goes.

At the end of this I hope the model and textures will meet the BMS Teams satisfaction for inclusion in the Korea DB. For those following Manos’ model work you already know what a beautifully detailed model it is. Even reduced to 30K tris the model is still quite lovely. Once I am done I will post up the PSD for others to use as a baseline for other skin work. I also believe Manos’ may have plans (if not already working) for other variants.
