Warthog profile without TARGET

I am a new player, just got the game yesterday, and I would like to ask if there is a way to set up mu HOTAS Warthog without using TARGET?
Last time I used a Thrustmaster software, to fix a blind spot on my joystick, I ended up with a dead stick. i mange to fix it with an old PC, including the initial blind spot, but I am not going to risk a 450 Euro HOTAS again. That aside, warthog is perfectly mapped in DCS for A10C, and rewriting the script 2-3 times a day, to switch between BMS to DCS is just asking for it.

Yes, just DX it. I can give you settings for the stick, but I don’t have the throttle.

The unshifted state replicates the F16 Side Stick except for 1.) paddle and pinky buttons swapped for ease of use as ‘shift’, and 2.) CMS press doesn’t exist in the F16 but has ‘pretty screen shot’ in this keyfile.

BMS - Basic.key or BMS - Full.key which is loaded by default just after installing BMS already have complete keybinds for Warthog Stick. Make sure your DeviceSorting.txt in User/Config has a Warthog Joystick for its first line.

If you also have Warthog Throttle, Simply look for

===== 5.11 FLIGHT STICK =====

in the Current Keyfile table, Click the key table(where shows keyboard setup like “Home”“end”), then push throttle buttons you want to assign the callback.

I usually use Cougar throttle but If I have time I’ll give you my Warthog setup keyfile for stick & throttle later.

I used Kolbe’s keyfile generator (see you docs/key files & input folder) to set up the WT stick & throttle on my son’s gaming PC as two bare DX devices, worked like a charm.

Okay here is a keyfile for HOTAS WARTHOG both Joystick&Throttle.
Copy them to the last line of any .key file in User/Config

Make sure in DeviceSorting.txt Joystick as 1st and throttle as 2nd device.
Also set “Enable Dogfight/Missile Override Self-Cancel” from Config(launcher).
