Guam Beta Release

After this ongoing debate over the SimData Mod in Balkans. I have decided, for the moment, that any further release’s of Guam will be a stand alone install and will only include the current BMS.exe……SIGH!!!
All other files will be Specific to the install and corrected to the current BMS code.
NOT my preferred way of doing it, but because the “Air frame attrition to End Game” campaign scenario in Guam requires some minor SimData\DB edit’s so that “Joe Public” and the AI can TO\LO the carriers, it must be done this way.
Not talking about the Suzee27, not used, nor the F16’s (they are land based).
For it to work, I need other AC’s to be able to TO\LO the carriers AI wise.(Only got seven Land Based AB’s in Guam…LOL!!!)
Sooo…I have to turn the “Switch” on and I have to “Point” those AC to the AFM’s that “Fly” from carriers…Sigh…so be it.

Harrg, I can’t understand Mav-JP here.

He could protect and MP check “his” FM DB for Borea as he wants,
but make the SIM folder delocalized (as requested by community) for Add-on theaters,
so his Borea DB remain untouched.

I was also in hope things get changed for 4.33, but it seems it will not happen.

… It could be so easy.

But instead we are forced to “swap” SIM folder back and forth using F4Patch or batch files,
which is even worse. … or abstain from changing the SIM folder at all.

What a stupid situation, … and what a pity.

C’ on it’s passed exactly 1 year from the release of Alpha. Give Beta version to people this Christmas…

If need be and it’s kinda’ like that, but a major hassle to do, but not impossible……I would REALLY LIKE TO AVOID IT BMS BOYZ’…but as Biker stated, we have hope!!
