Here is the concept……because I have removed some dependencies for Features on an Objective I am able to make a much bigger AB Obj.
The Red Dot is the center of the new obj. The white writing is PH\PT Data. I’m trying this due to the fact that the ATManager is having a fit generating enough flights from the two small AB’s in that area as opposed to Andersen AB on Guam ( for the Air Frame Atrit .tri file to work in Campain’ we need 50/50 generated). If it works with no CTD, then fine. If not then I will have to take them both back in time (circa 2009) when the current Taxiways were the runway making them two strip runways…probably easier to do, but I’m having FUN with this ATM…another Easter Egg…LOLOLOhaahahaaaa!!!Dave

You\AI will have a harder time “Hugging the Deck” for avoidance of “Incoming” in defence mode……Sigh, one of my more favourite “Tricks” over the years in Falcon…oh well, thing of the past.
As well you\AI will have a harder time trying to launch a missile off the deck while in the envelope…HEHEHE!!!Also, no shaders needed

It shows “waves” or elevations in the water so to speak and that he is not using water tiles but plain tiles with water areas (how it should be).

Many thanks to Vagabonds for again taking one of my “Out of the Box, Brain Fart” concepts and doing the grunt work to prove it!
I think that this concept applied across the board in theaters, will increase our immersion in the sim.(Or Submersion if you are not careful on the deck……LOL!!!)

Great out of the box thinking Dave and company. Now a real immersive effect would be if we could simulate standing snow/rain visual effect on runways during adverse conditions. Perhaps we could do like FS9/FSX and have poor weather (water) tiles randomly placed during spring/fall conditions. Snow tiles displayed at al times during winter.

UMMMM……some other POC “things” we are trying to shove into the BETA:

The Static AC are Features on the Airbase Objective. As such, we can create a dependency on them as to whether the Airbase maintains an operational status of >some% needed to produce\support flights,maybe or maybe not, have not decided yet. Remember in GUAM we can no longer “Base Rape” as there are no Runways per say.
You can bomb the runways all day and night and you will get nowhere
BUT if you Attrit Airframes you will win…

There has been some concern from the Beta testers and one developer as to the SCALING in Guam.
As it is, I had posted about Guam Tiles GROWING. They are now as exact to PR as we can get them, that being done necessitated that the models must also grow as well, on a ratio of 1.44:1 (or in Freds LOD Editor 1.5:1). These ratios may be familiar to some in the community, but not all.
So a quick explain in Pics.I am trying very hard to “play nice” with Falcon ATM, so we can all enjoy.
