PPT campaign issue

I can’t get PPT’s to appear in a mission.

Iron Fortress, mission 1. I will use PPT 56 as an example.

I place PPT 56, with SA5 status, on top of an SA5 at steerpoint 7. I open the DTC and save it. I then save the campaign. Each time I load that save the PPT is on the map. But at aircraft startup, steerpoint 56 is empty.

I thought it might be an issue with switching to a different package, but I tried sticking with the originally assigned package, and that didn’t work, either.

I’ve gone through 6.2.1 How to set up PPTs but I can’t see what I’m doing wrong.

What am I missing?

Are you loading the DTC during your ramp start?

That was it.

I must have assumed that as PPT’s are essentially steerpoints that they would import in the same way. But saving the DTC should have been a clue.

It’s just as well I’m not embarassed at doing something stupid.
