Rybo's Profile - Never disappearing, No shifted layer, Easily customized

So has anybody gotten this working with with Saitek Combat Rudder pedals? I look at the manual axis assignments in the config screen, and I can’t reassign the toe brakes or rudder axis.
That’s unfortunate, and even worse I don’t really have any idea why that would be the case. Maybe you’ve already tried these, but here are a few of my ideas to troubleshoot:
- Verify the code for the pedals in DeviceDefaults.txt (seems an unlikely culprit)
- Verify the pedals are present in DeviceSorting.txt (I keep my pedals directly underneath Thrustmaster Combined)
- Double check that the pedal axis assignments can be changed when not running my profile to exonerate potential hardware issues.

My profile is based on Rybo’s, and works fine with my Saitek pedals.

I had my pedals just below my MFD’s in DeviceSorting.txt, but I figured that’d be important to have in general?
I won’t be back in front of my computer before the weekend, but I’ll try the rest then, and report back.

Rybo, its been a while, but I am back into Falcon.
(Seriously, I fell in love, most beautiful, loving relationship I ever had for 1 year and two months. Got married (June 16th 2018, but she changed completely 1 week before the wedding when I started moving my stuff in. 7 weeks later she asks me to leave, and now I have been waiting since September for the divorce papers. Super painful, and I miss her dearly, even though she probably has a mental illness, but I still pray for a miracle. After lots of counseling to deal with all of this and help from friends, I’m starting to get back to my self! What a story, and that is the simple version, but now I have time to get back into Falcon! Crazy, ha! But at least I’m getting back in the air!)
Right now just using your V 3 profile in 4.34 and it works great. So I just wanted to thank you for your great work, and I will try your V4 when I get a chance.

You are not the first person to report that, but I have not been able to replicate it so unfortunately I do not have a solution for you

Well at least it’s good to know that It’s a problem unique to me or that I did something wrong hopefully lol.

I like the profile but i’m worn out trying to get my rudder pedals working. I have this.

Rybo, I am having trouble getting the VHF button to work. Everything else works fine. I just started flying multiplayer and discovered this issue. I was using V3 of your profile, so I loaded up V4, but I am having the same problem. I really like how your profile sets up the antenna elevation, so I really would like to keep your profile. Any ideas on how to fix VHF?

First, let me say a big thank you to all of the guys who have made profiles for Falcon BMS. Thank you for your hard work.
I still haven’t heard from Rybo, and I could use some help. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix the VHF issue with Rybo’s profile? Is there possibly just a line of code to adjust to correct this? Everything else in his V4 profile works great, the button on the warthog does indeed work, and I really like that his profile sets up the antenna elevation so that it can be easily adjusted by my thumb.
So are there any suggestions?
And for those of you who use Morphine’s profile, does using the slider to adjust antenna elevation work ok for you guys?

What you are describing is strange.
Rybo’s profile calls for DX23 for the VHF, so a simple directx button, not a keyboard emulation.
The keyfile he provides does also give SimTransmitCom2 for DX23 (22 for Falcon as it starts at 0)
So there is no wizardry there… Are you using the correct keyfile ?
In your devicesorting.txt is “Thrustmaster Combined” the first in the list ? -

Thanks for the help. I do not know exactly why, but it works now. So here is basically how I think I screwed up. When I was flying with a couple of guys, I think V3 of Rybo’s was not working properly with the latest version of Falcon BMS. So I did upgrade to V4, and I think when I went to the controller menu, and I tested things, I screwed something up.What I just did now was to go to the setup controller menu, and I found the VHF clicked on it, and then I pushed the correct button on the warthog throttle, and it now works. I still think that when I originally test V4 of Rybo’s profile, the vhf button just was not working, and then I went to the control menu and screwed things up more, but oh well, it works now!
