Hello,
This grey stuff makes me extremely sad to be seen under an incorrect roundel shape… It’s a shame Japan couldn’t have purchased something else than this stuff.

I think Radium will like this Phantom video.
Ironically, some JASDF airmen in Hyakuri AB call their squadron as “T-4 squadron”.
Because F-4s in the base are pretty much old now, and remaining flight time is not enough to keep them flying until F-35 become operational.
Hence, the squadrons use T-4 jet trainer/multi purpose aircraft to maintain pilot’s proficiency.Due to the above circumstances, I think the “Paradise” doesn’t exist anymore in Hyakuri.
I’m sure you guys will be disappointed if you come Hyakuri for spotting F-4s. It’s like, T-4 is everywhere.
Just in case, I advise Phantom lovers to schedule 2 to 3 days for visiting. -
Tribute to JASDF F-4.
Btw, I had been extremely busy the last days… I will work some on F-104 this week-end. Keep in touch!

Japanese SDF F-4s definately have the coolest painshemes. Liked the blue ones. As a young guy I had a wallpaper of a JASDF F-4 Phantom II in blue with a sharkmouth around the cannon.
From German “aero” magazine around '89, late 80s. -

Hello there,
I hope some people are still following that thread and that I do not make you tired with my Japanese stuff!
Anyway.
Just to let you know that Topolo is doing a huge job with flight model and payload integration.
Thank you very much for his loyal and kind help, as always!
I work a lot on payload, to offer a 100% custom Eiko Starfighter.
JASDF often used specific payloads, this screenshot was made from what I found as real life pictures.
As some might see, I decided to make the SUU-21 pod… I like this one, especially its shape, so, I decided to make it.
Stay tuned!
Kindly yours,
Radium

Hello!
Some news for F-104DJ Eiko!
She is now almost finished.
As you can see on these pictures, she is having a more fighting look now. I completed all payload JASDF had. I selected JASDF RL-4 for screenshots you can see here.
On the list, I achieved :
- RL-4 rocket launcher
- LAU-3 rocket launcher
- SUU-21 bomb dispenser
- 127mm rockets
- BL75 pylons
Topolo is now hardworking on the payload’s configuration. He already achieved a great work, we are now finishing the latest details.
Thank you to Dema, who provided hi-quality structure references, I used almost everything he provided for Eiko.
Thank you to PeCa_Chuck, who had been, as always, a great help to find the best JASDF references and who always support my work.
You can now consider this project finished for increment 1! Increment 2 will have new liveries.
Thank you everybody,
Radium
