Hi, I have 4.32 installed, but could never get it run on my monitor.
Can someone either point me at a thread that will tell me what to do to install the new version ( including uninstalling the previous versions) or summarise it quickly in an answer?

      I have downloaded 4.33 u1 ….what else do I need?

      Thank you, Mark

Hi, you might want to download also Update 2.

You need to install Falcon 4.0 on your PC first (but you don’t have to launch it), otherwhise the BMS Installation won’t continue I think.
The downloaded Setup extracts the real installer where you point it to (normally its called Falcon BMS 4.33 Setup I think).
Go to the extracted data afterwards and launch the Game Setup in there. Do not remove the Setup folder afterwards, because you will need it for updates.
Updates extract the files to the Setup folder, and there you have to continue the update. It sounds a bit strange, but nothing to worry about.

Once BMS is installed, use the launcher on the desktop to start the game. Check your video options for the right video adapter and prepare your keyfile.
BMS brought multiple different keyfiles (also for hotas) and there are more when you get into the Forums Joystick Section.
Additionally there is an excellent Excel file at X:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Docs\Key Files & Input\BMS Key File Editor.xls
It can be used also with Libre Office and OpenOffice.org. There you can import a keyfile and modify it while keeping it clean and documented/categorized.

Depending on your likings you can invest multiple days configuring your devices, or simply a few minutes.

Finally as -M-a-v—j-p- Mower would say: Get on the stick!

By the way, you don’t have to uninstall 4.32, they can coexist (just don’t install 4.33 into 4.32). If you want to fly on falcon-online they are flying both versions.

my installer just goes nowhere; maybe someone could post a pick of starting the installer showing where it’s pointing too.

It’s different on pretty much everyone’s rig. Depends on where you download it and either move it somewhere and run it, or run it from there(where it was downloaded to).

You really need to either, A) Get a Windows for Dummies book or, B) Take a Windows for Dummies class!!! 😄 Both would probably be best!!! HAHA
