Yep, puter is overclocked though but still.
Some things turned off.shadow mapping, double res.
Still not bad for the old e8500 and running at 1920 x 1200 on 24 inch screen. At 4.1 mhz.
Havent flown over damacus yet though. -
wow e8500 at 4.1… Is that stable Oldtommyboy? what about voltage do u have it on auto or what values do u use?

Some notes regarding the loadout of the Israeli F-16’s after the questions which were raised here. Missions can be flown very effectively with the current loadout (RL mind you), in my squadron we’ve been doing so for a long time so I can testify. You need to use your assets smartly and know relevant intelligence well.
IAF blocks 30/40 don’t carry the AIM-120. Firstly the F-16I and F-15’s do and you can use them for escort / TARCAP. But also consider that any IAF viper from block 30 and up carries Python 4 which the best short range missile in the region plus JHMCS to utilize its full 90 degree off bore sight capability. The best IR missiles the Syrians posses is the AA-11 (in one squadron only of MiG-29A), which the Python out ranges.
The best IR missile the Egyptians have is the AIM-9M. They also don’t have JHMCS.Regarding medium range, none of Israel’s adversaries have active missiles. Egypt has Sparrows in its F-16’s and Syria’s best medium range missile is the AA-10 (again in one squadron only of MiG-29A). You have internal jammer and lots of chaff for defence (more chaff with the FM patch on only), and the reasonable reach of the Python. If you can deny launch for long enough with these and proper tactics you will win engagements vs aircraft with the above medium range missiles. But it also means planning your route smartly in AG missions to avoid being intercepted as much as possible (scrambles work in the campaigns for both sides!)
In the AG field make the most of our your JDAMs which an extremely versatile weapon. Use a human awacs or another aircraft to transmit to you updated target coordinates. Release at max range (you don’t need to wait for the CCRP release, use man mode to release at the loft cue). Loft the JDAMs from low alt in a SAM environment or from high alt for longer reach when possible.
Alternatively, use dumb bombs and perfect your popup attack, which with ECM and countermeasures can defeat most SAM systems in this region.
Against mobile targets use CBUs and a ‘cone attack’ for accuracy and mutual cover.

Any tips for offline single-player? Most of those are suited for multiplay, it seems.
Firstly the F-16I and F-15’s do and you can use them for escort / TARCAP.
Speaking of, what’s the best way to frag an F-16I/F-15 escort? I noticed when I take my squadron out of the ATO it will only let me add escort from the same squadron.
-
Well besides sharing target coordinates you can do the same things offline and employ the weapons in the same way. the AI is more limited and will not do that obviously. As in any campaign you need to manage them and make sure they don’t do stupid things so you don’t loose aircraft for no reason.
There shouldn’t be a problem to frag a new package and add to it F-15s or F-16Is for escort as long as the takeoff time is far enough ahead (about two hours usually) and aircraft are available.

Arty, been running it for a year now.
Works great. Been awhile. Have to check.
Temps good. Benchmarks and stress good. -
Arty. Cpu voltage is 1.325
Dram 2.1
Nb 1.3 -
Ok, two questions since I’m relearning SEAD without dedicated munitions as many others. On a low Level Ingress on a SA-2 site, is there a way to pre-assign my AI flights targets like the radar or so? When trying this through flight plan it schows only using “bomb” command “attack AD batt. 257” f.e.
Maybe I’m missing something but I found no other descriptions in the General Forum. I know that offline OCA missions should be better led by AI pilots which are not so bad at all but in this theater with standard munitions I had one airfield sucessfully hit after 4 attempts. Don’t get me wrong, I love the challenge but a Little advice from more professionel pilots would be nice. Many thanks in advance

Since the AI don’t like to fly any lower than 1500’ I would give them a Flex command outside of the threat ring, take out the radar myself, then clear the AI in for the rest of the work.
I’m wondering how we’re supposed to take out SA-3 sites….Those things can engage between 100 AGL and FL230+, and have range greater than the Maverick.

Thank you echo7

The theater uses default BMS sounds, is it different for you compared to Korea’s stock sound?
It is so large that the sound of comm cannot be heard.
-
What is the point of this theatre, its extremely weak versus extremely strong opponent? Completely lack of challenge in campaign…

Make sure the comm volume is OK in the setup screen and in the cockpit. There should not be a difference from Korea in this regard. Can you post a video?
What is the point of this theatre
Well,
GOAL
Israel theater aims to model realistically the environment of Israel and nearby countries, present-day scenarios, and weapon systems as used in the region.
its extremely weak versus extremely strong opponent? Completely lack of challenge in campaign…
A:
While realistic, these campaigns are a starting point for more complex scenarios which we plan for later versions.
And B, Use the force ratio slider in the beginning of the campaign if you prefer challenge over realism in this scenario. I should mention that in the recommended ‘rookie’ setting the force ratios are close to 1:1 in both in aircraft and in ground troops, though Israel has quality advantage. And from the comments above you can understand that it’s not that easy.
PS Barabasz, does that mean you finished the campaign? Good, it’s working then
-
Yes applied to the indicated preferences in first post. No I did not finished any of the two campaign, see no point in shooting to the flying ducks or flee from dozen of AMRAAMs. Well, for sake of “realism” you should at least add one sqn of F-16 Block 52 on Egyptian side. Do waves of dense top ACs versus sparse ducks flying all the time is also in term of realism or reality? Sorry I’m disappointed hope to see a more challenging approach in “unreal” campaign, next time…
Cheers, and indeed good job the terrain and its elements are nice…

See the videos Echo7 posted above.
The loft-toss maneuver was against SA-3’s using JDAM. -

Try sp bfb then. Or set sliders to ace or korea strong, last campaign.

Is it likely that after switching from an Instan Action mission to training (TE) the sim would crash, or should I try to trace another culprit (a hardware failure, perhaps)?
-
Yes I’m flying at the moment tweaked Battle of Sinai SA, installed IT to see if something changed in new version, so far recent BoS is more enjoyable.
-
Barabasz, I believe the first post states the goals of the theater clearly. Don’t expect (for example) AIM-120 on aircraft which don’t carry it in RL, “for balance”.
Each of us enjoys different things, for me and my squadron flying in a realistic environment is rewarding, as it is. You are free to edit the theater to your liking.Try sp bfb then. Or set sliders to ace or korea strong, last campaign.
+1

Can you duplicate it?
