Strange distance readout

I’m playing a Korean campaign now.
During one mission, after bombing a bridge with LGBs, I noticed a strange thing: the distance to the nearest steerpoint (you know, at the bottom right corner of the HUD, B and some numbers) was not decreasing, but actually increasing all the time. I tried with different steerpoints but it was increasing all the time, as if I were flying backwards. Even when I was flying over the diamond on the HUD, the indication was telling me that I’m kind of moving away from it.

The question is:

• is it a bug which appears from time to time
• or my NAV system was damaged by ground fire during the mission?

Sorry, I hadn’t checked the warning panel before I exited the mission.

Probably your TGP still stuck looking towards the bridge you just destroyed, and using that as your main point of interest to measure distance towards.
