I know!
I’d like understand the need of messing with icon color just for the player to play with the blue camp… Why? … is the “blue” the universal color of the good guys? … If this is really a problem for some ppl … rather than playing with files, set one camp brown, and the other gray! … or yellow and orange?
Spending time swapping .irc to fly the blue at all cost … I’ve always laughed about that!
(Just kidding ;))

is the “blue” the universal color of the good guys?
Blue maybe not, but Red definately means danger. It is associated with blood = death, aggression = death, Imminent danger (STOP traffic signal, red light) = death. Furthermore, in the modern western military tradition the word red is synonymous to the Red Army of the USSR.
And a Scientific Research on Red color
But I do agree that when the flags have specific colors then stick to those colors.

Urban legends and fake actually!
Some much more serious scientific experiments has proven that aggressiveness is also caused by all other colors:

With one exception :

The Best exception…!!! :bdance:

Campaign CTD in DAY 1 around 09 30… Repeated test have the same result…
Any way to overcome this problem??
-
Make love, not war??
-
Aegean has become really good with TomsAegean2014 tiles and LVN2 models from JanHas… A working campaign would be nice to have…
I have tested a version of Aegean Wars campaign by placing units in the correct order of battle HAF Vs TUAF but the same problem remains with CTD at day 1 just like the original version… -
Well it will be nice to have the txt again how to change the colors? or is it in the theater folders and i missed it? Anyway we need mor campaigns!!! and i haven’t tested yet to confirm the ctd wich someone said earlier cause i just started and exited without flying a mision just to see if its starting ok… By the way now that i remembered wher the heck is HAF’s F-4’s??? We didnt dismissed them yet right?
Well about the colors i found it…

Happened the same to me. It’s a pity.

I also confirm the problem…. i didnt fly all the missions but i tried to test by just accelerating time and wait (maybe thats why i got ctd earlier (around 08:00) but it ctd at day 1… any suggestions? It is a pity cause the theater it self is very good!
-
Also problems occur with mission assigments since almost 98% are SEAD strike for all squadrons…
Also Mirage 2000 squadrons in Tanagra do not generate missions and remain inactive…
Seems that this version has many issues in campaign mode…
In have added with TacEdit realistic order of battle with more Squadrons of F-16 Block30/50/52+ and F-4E but these are also tasked with SEAD (even if their primary role is AA) and always end up with CTD in Day 1 around 09 30…
I m afraid that the problematic nature of Falcon campaign editor is also haunting BMS…
Anyone with special knowledge in campaign editing would be most welcome to give a hand…
Aegean remains the only Theater with no working campaign… That sucks…
-
Try to get in contact with “RAM22” (banned). He da man for this.
-
I just opened the Campaign save with Tacedit and i get a warning for a duplicate Objective ID can be this the problem from the ctd? I will try to fix it and test again i will post the news soon!
Not very good at it so no luck there….

I can confirm also the crashing of the campaign. When I fly strait for couple of hours, without using to much time acceleraiton I menage to keep the campaign running after 10:00 AM for a short period. But when time is accelerated it even crashes earlier.
Interesting fact is that when I fly with a squad mate and he hosts the campaign didn’t crash… so at first I thought that the problem was only in my TV. But now with all that reports I see its common.
Manos1981, please share if you have any progress. One thing that may couse the crash is that the campaign generates too many flight packages. @ 9:00AM there are dosens of preplaned flights for like 4:00PM and even later. But that’s just my guess… -
And to add one last thing:
Everybody with knowladge in campaign building is welcome to help fixing this issue, so finaly there’s a good campaign for this nice theater.

Also tried it in the original Aegean theater (i just copied the save0.* files in the campaign folder)it runs ok until 08:00… i managed to finish a BARCAP mission and then it crashed… so probably the problem is in the campign files for sure and not the theater… -
Cobra00 i’ve run the original campaign that came with Aegean 1.1 for several hours (it starts 03:00 1st day) till 14:30 and i noticed that the game creates about 8-9 flights and then when all those are rtb creates the new ones so that is 8-9 flights lets say every 2 hours? maybe 3? ANd it run very smooth without any CTD or anything so there is a possibilty because the game creates to many flights at once to be the cause for the crash as you mentioned. Is it possible for you to edit the campaign like that and send us a new version for test? Also it will be nice to fix some issues like Airbases names and squadrons (put some f-4’s as well for Greece). Just a suggestion….
I also will try to run the original campaign today with your modded folder to see if it haves any issues and i will post!EDIT: Here is the results i noted down:
Campaign starts at 03:00
1st flight is at 03:35 and last one at 04:35 all the flights are 7
at 04:15 another 7 was created from 05:27 till 06:27
next “group” of flights created at 07:20 with the 1st one at 07:53 till 08:53 also 7 flights in total… i don’t know if this gonna help you but it might say something… again i will write that thats the “original” campaign that came with version 1.1 and this time running with your modded folder… -
I did some research in the campaign files with Mission Commander program and it seems that the problem exists in the ground units. I made an experiment keeping the original files but deleting all ground units and leaving only flights… I started a campaign and till 15:30 (game time) of the first day no crash with full program and random tasking normally, i starting to work on the files from cobra and i will try to be more realistic about the order of battle might use block 52+ w.o. cfts as 50’s or (if you have janhas skins or models (anyone of you) i will use the AGR model as a block 50 or if someone has another idea i’m willing to hear it. And off course some bases that downt exist on the map i will use the closest ones (tripoli for example and not andravida). Therefore its gona take me some time to see what to do with the ground units. and how to place them and program them but im willing to give it a try. So anyone wants to help i’m here…
